Mrs. Philipose’s Humanity II Class takes a Journey to Hell
Mrs. Philipose’s Humanity II class of sophomore’s every year reads the book Dante’s Inferno by Dante Alighieri, an epic poem about Dante’s travels through Hell, Purgatory, and Heaven. The divine comedy is an allegory of soul’s journey toward God. Dante’s Inferno is considered one of the greatest examples of Italian literature. The Humanity’s class creates a wall depicting the poem every year; the wall hangs in the hall next to Mrs. Philipose’s room.
